Why GOOD SALT Matters for Your Health
Why Is Good Salt So Important?
There are many kinds of salt — different colors, different sources, different ingredients. But not all salt is created equal. Many commercial salts contain heavy metals, harmful chemicals, and environmental pollutants. That's why choosing a good alkaline salt over acidic, processed salt makes all the difference.
Common table salt is simply sodium chloride. But in real sea salt, you'll find a rich profile of minerals — most importantly calcium, magnesium, and potassium — in addition to sodium. These minerals are essential for brain and nerve function, and are key components of cerebrospinal fluid and body fluids that keep your entire system running.
Good salt helps your body:
Stay properly hydrated
Reduce fluid retention
Balance electrolytes
Prevent muscle cramps
Support skin health
Improve digestion
Nourish the adrenal glands
Regulate blood pressure
Prevent heat cramps — and much more
How Can You Use Korean Bamboo Sea Salt?
Korean Bamboo Sea Salt is incredibly versatile and easy to incorporate into your daily routine:
Alkaline mineral water: Add ½ teaspoon to a 500ml water bottle. When we sweat, we lose sodium — and when we feel thirsty, our body is asking for it.
With food: Sprinkle on meals to help neutralize acidic foods and shift them toward a more alkaline state.
Saline spray: Mix ¼ teaspoon into a 30ml spray bottle with water and use as a gentle nasal, eye, or facial mist.
Why Do Doctors Say "No Salt"?
You've probably heard it before: "Watch your sodium intake for better heart health."
While there is some truth to the concern about salt and hypertension, this warning applies primarily to refined white table salt — the kind found in most restaurant saltshakers. These salts have been stripped of all beneficial minerals, leaving only sodium chloride, which can create imbalances and contribute to disease in the body.
Korean Bamboo Sea Salt is fundamentally different. It is not refined — it is purified, mineral-rich, and alkaline by nature.
What Are the Benefits of Korean Bamboo Sea Salt?
PURIFYING Helps reduce inflammation, supports detoxification, increases metabolism, and cleanses the blood.
ANTIOXIDANT Protects cells from free radicals, regulates the body's pH level, and alkalizes body fluids.

What's the Best Salt?
It's important to understand the difference between natural salt and processed table salt. Table salt is heavily refined and stripped of its minerals. Natural salts come in their whole, complete form.
Among all the varieties available, I recommend Korean Bamboo Sea Salt for optimal health. It is the only salt I personally use and recommend to my clients at Balance Posture & Bodywork.
How Is Korean Bamboo Sea Salt Made?
Korean Bamboo Sea Salt undergoes a rigorous purification process:
Filtered through a unique system to remove impurities
Placed in a bio-ceramic container
Heated through four stages at over 850°C (1,562°F) for more than 24 hours
This process eliminates chlorine gas, brine, cadmium, heavy metals, and microplastics
Finally coated with medicinal herb extracts to enhance its healing properties
The result is a pure alkaline salt — medicinal grade — containing potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, sulfate, phosphate, and balanced sodium chloride. Unlike regular salt, Korean Bamboo Sea Salt tastes clean, smooth, and even slightly sweet — with no bitterness.
